Premio American Music de 2014

Los 42a American Music Awards se llevó a cabo el 23 de noviembre de 2014, en el Nokia Theatre LA Live en Los Angeles, California. Los premios reconocen a los artistas más populares y álbumes de 2014. Las nominaciones se anunciaron el 13 de octubre 2014 ,por Jason Derulo y Charli XCX. Iggy Azalea lidera las nominaciones con seis nominaciones. Se transmitió en vivo por la cadena ABC.³ Pitbull fue anunciado como anfitrión el 20 de octubre de 2014. Lance Bass , Chelsea Briggs, Kandi Burruss , Gavin DeGraw , Frankie Grande , Taryn Manning , Jordin Sparks , Morgan Stewart y Ted Stryker fueron co-antitriones del pre-show anunciaron el 7 de noviembre de 2014.
